The Mighty Deerstalker | March 21st | 2009

The Deerstalker is an "adventure run" which sets off from Traquair House near Innerleithen. With distance options at 5 km (ish) and 10 km (and a bit) nearly 1,000 runners took part in 2008. It was a riot for all involved. To top off a great days adventure racing there was the ‘mobbed – gale storm party and the lung-bursting and ear aching Borders rock of the Brewery Band’.

So after a hard day on the hills, why camp or bunk down when you can enjoy the perfect night’s rest at nearby innerhaven self catering accommodation in Innerleithen – just a few minutes away from the race HQ at Traquair.
