Tweed Valley in Norwegian Love Affair

We’re always excited about visitors coming to stay at Innerhaven and getting to know Innerleithen and the Tweed Valley - whether it be for mountain biking, walking, relaxing or whatever - but when we have overseas visitors who’ve chosen to pay our little town a visit because of its global status as a mountain bike mecca, you can imagine why it’s just that little bit extra special!

Stramash freeride festival comes to Glentress

A brand new mountain biking event will be held at Glentress in Scotland’s Tweed Valley on the 19-20th September.

Saturday is a day of slopestyle competition, culminating in a floodlit finale starring top UK freeriders. On Sunday the enduro takes place on the excellent trails at Glentress, with timed descents.

Peebles handed stage start in Tour of Britain

PEEBLES’ status as one of the hubs of the Scottish cycling scene was underlined yesterday when the route of this year’s Tour of Britain was unveiled in London, and the small Borders town was confirmed as the venue for a stage start.
