Your hosts - Andy and Aneela McKenna - moved to the Scottish Borders to escape city-life, and get a bit closer to their favourite place - the outdoors. Spurred on by 30 minute home makeover shows, in November 2007 we took the plunge and immersed ourselves in renovating a historic 2 bedroom property into ‘innerhaven‘ - great accommodation with a personal touch, representing all the best bits about the favourite places we’ve stayed.

As the name suggests, innerhaven is intended to provide a warm, relaxing and particularly practical place to stay. It’s the ground floor of a characterful old whinstone house built in the mid 1800’s. Lovingly refurbished, our self catering apartment is perfectly located for outdoors lovers and visitors to Southern Scotland - only seconds away from some of Scotland’s best mountain biking, fishing, golfing and walking.
